Before your appointment
- Bring the complete document and identification acceptable under California notary rules.
- Have every person whose signature needs notarizing available for the appointment.
- Confirm the required notarial act with the receiving party if the document does not specify it.
- Ask before signing in advance. A jurat requires signing in the notary’s presence.

A notary cannot choose a legal document or give legal advice. Ask the receiving organization or a qualified attorney about the document and required notarial act.
Can we meet at my home?
Mobile visits are planned by appointment within approximately 15 miles of the Granada Hills office. The address, timing and travel charge will be confirmed first.
Are services available now?
