Arrive prepared.
A little preparation makes the appointment easier. Choose a service to see where to begin.

The right details, in the right order.
- Bring the complete document and identification acceptable under California notary rules.
- Have every person whose signature needs notarizing available for the appointment.
- Confirm the required notarial act with the receiving party if the document does not specify it.
- Ask before signing in advance. A jurat requires signing in the notary’s presence.
Unsure what the document requires?
Ask the receiving organization or a qualified attorney. We can discuss appointment logistics, but we cannot choose a legal document or notarial act for you.
